If you are having trouble using Safe2Click, the following frequently asked questions might be of assistance. If not, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to help you out.
Do I have to choose a tag?
No, this is optional. If you don't want to use a tag, simply leave this box empty.
What is Safe 2 Click?
Safe 2 Click is a free service that allows you to create a shortened version of any existing URL. When someone clicks on a URL that has been shortened by Safe 2 Click, a preview of the destination website is displayed in order to give the user an idea of whether the destination website is safe to click.
How do I use Safe 2 Click?
To shorten a link with Safe 2 Click, simply visit our home page and enter the URL (e.g. http://www.google.com) into the first box. If you want to use a custom tag, enter this into the second box. For example, a custom tag of "google" would give you a shortened link of http://s2c.me/google. Otherwise, leave this box blank and your shortened link will use a randomly generated combination of letters and numbers, such as http://s2c.me/abc123. Click on the "Generate Link!" button and your shortened link will be generated and presented to you. You can then post this link wherever you wish, for example on Twitter, in order for people to see it and click on it.
